Two weekends ago, the NY Times wrote about a new iPhone and Android phone application called CabSesne, which analyzes NYC taxi location data to help people in New York find the best place near them to hail a cab. CabSense is free, so it'd be great to tell visitors to NYC about! (you can download it at www.cabsense.com) Good post though, regardless.
